POS integration - FoodTicket

To set up the integration with FoodTicket, Mr. Einstein needs an API Key and Client ID from your FoodTicket environment. You request these details from FoodTicket. This article explains, as an employer or administrator, how to set up the cash register integration (kassakoppeling) with FoodTicket. Are you setting up the integration for the first time? Then contact Mr. Einstein first (see step 1).

Step 1: Contact Mr. Einstein first

Are you setting up the cash register integration for the first time? Then contact Mr. Einstein first at [e-mail]. We switch on the integration for your location in the background. Until we have done this, you will not yet see the tab to set up the integration in the portal.

Step 2: Request the details from FoodTicket

To set up the integration you need an API Key and Client ID from your FoodTicket environment. You request these from FoodTicket. In the connection screen (Koppelingen) of Mr. Einstein a ready-made email is available that you can copy and send. This email is in Dutch. Add your own company and contact details. Without these details the integration cannot be set up and the systems cannot communicate with each other.

Beste FoodTicket,

Namens [naam van je zaak] wil ik graag de API Key opvragen om onze Mr. Einstein-omgeving te koppelen met jullie systeem. Ook heb ik hiervoor een of meerdere Client ID's nodig van mijn locaties. Graag ontvang ik deze ook van jullie.

Ik hoor graag van jullie zodra deze gegevens beschikbaar zijn. Mocht er aanvullende informatie nodig zijn, laat het me gerust weten. Alvast bedankt voor jullie medewerking!

Step 3: Enter the details in Mr. Einstein

Have you received the details from FoodTicket? Then enter them and save the integration.

1. Go to www.mreinsteinportaal.nl.
2. Click Statistieken (Statistics) in the black menu bar and choose Management rapportages (Management reports).
3. Click Instellingen (Settings) at the top right.
4. Click Koppeling Instellen (Set up integration).
5. Select FoodTicket from the dropdown menu.
6. Have you not requested the details from FoodTicket yet? Click Gegevens invullen (Fill in details), use the example email from step 2 and send it to FoodTicket. Once you have received the details, return to the portal.
7. Enter the API Key.
8. Enter the Client ID for each location.
9. Click Koppelen (Connect) to save the integration.

The details are now retrieved from FoodTicket. Allow 1 to 2 hours for everything to load correctly.
