POS integration - unTill

To set up the integration with unTill, Mr. Einstein needs a number of technical details from your unTill environment. You request these from your POS supplier (kassaleverancier), the company you buy your cash register system from. This article explains, as an employer or administrator, how to set up the cash register integration (kassakoppeling) with unTill. Are you setting up the integration for the first time? Then contact Mr. Einstein first (see step 1).

Step 1: Contact Mr. Einstein first

Are you setting up the cash register integration for the first time? Then contact Mr. Einstein first at [e-mail]. We switch on the integration for your location in the background. Until we have done this, you will not yet see the tab to set up the integration in the portal.

Step 2: Request the details from your POS supplier

To set up the integration you need a number of technical details from your unTill environment. You request these from your POS supplier (kassaleverancier). In the connection screen (Koppelingen) of Mr. Einstein a ready-made email is available that you can copy and send. This email is in Dutch. Add your own company and contact details. Without these details the integration cannot be set up and the systems cannot communicate with each other.

Port forwarding

Het kassasysteem moet toegankelijk zijn voor Mr. Einstein via de API. Hiervoor moet poort 3064 open worden gezet.

Whitelisting

Maak je gebruik van IP Whitelisting? Zet dan de volgende IP-adressen van Mr. Einstein op de whitelist:

• IPv4: 141.138.169.246
• IPv6: 2a03:3c00:a002:242::110f

Step 3: Enter the details in Mr. Einstein

Have you received the details from your POS supplier? Then enter them and save the integration.

1. Go to www.mreinsteinportaal.nl.
2. Click Statistieken (Statistics) in the black menu bar and choose Management rapportages (Management reports).
3. Click Instellingen (Settings) at the top right.
4. Click Koppeling Instellen (Set up integration).
5. Select unTill from the dropdown menu.
6. Have you not requested the details from your POS supplier yet? Click Gegevens invullen (Fill in details), use the example email from step 2 and send it to your POS supplier. Once you have received the details, return to the portal.
7. Enter the IP address (IP Adres).
8. Enter the database name (Databasenaam).
9. Enter the username (Gebruikersnaam).
10. Enter the password (Wachtwoord).
11. Click Koppelen (Connect) to save the integration.

The details are now retrieved from unTill. Allow 1 to 2 hours for everything to load correctly.
